常常瀏覽關於學習英文的部落格,剛好看到這篇部落客在分享另一位部落客的網誌,
內容是關於學英文的方法,寫得很精彩,因為他的措詞用字很有趣,一直老子老子..的,好好笑!!!

分三方面講
寫, 聽, 說
讀沒什麼好講的
就是多讀罷了
笑話也讀, 報紙也讀, 雜誌也讀
多讀一些
很多字的用法就會自動進入你的腦袋

寫的部份
我只講一個
那就是文法方面
假如你的文法很爛
那務必把基本的文法學好
你可以去買一本托福文法的書
練習練習
那應該是很實用很簡單的
再過來
如果你文法已經底子不錯了
你常常是因為看不懂像Time一樣那種過長的分詞構句
這涉及到一點基本的修辭的底子
我建議各位一本書
這本書算是惠我良多
叫做【旋元佑文法】←名字有聳到
這是我看到市面上
將基本修辭做最有系統卻又簡單的介紹的
例如講到To+V和Ving的差別
我們東方人常常搞不清楚什麼時候是加不定詞
什麼時候要加動名詞
他裡面有一些基本的判斷準則
搞懂了
以後就不會再犯這樣的錯誤
重要的是
完完全全不是用背誦的
不會像很多老式文法書
要你把要加to+V的動詞背下來
靠
老子背得下來
去背字典不就好了
神經啊
所以我喜歡這本書
因為旋元佑的腦袋不太好
跟我一樣
所以靠理解比較實際
畢竟我們是Taiwanese
記憶力果然沒有China-nese來得好
所以果然不大適用

缺點
搞懂這本書
會很喜歡寫長句子
所以
要適可而止
不是長句就比短句好
我之前就有一陣子有這樣的傾向
直到我讀了老人與海之後才知道
句子好壞和句子長短無關

聽說的話
如果在國外
那自然就是多聽
多和老外說
但是
如果在台灣
我想那是辦不到的
那當然要多看電視
但是
台灣英文電視劇那麼多
大家都在看
也沒看到大家英文好??
當然
要有點方法的
我當初在台灣
學英文
看電視
是拿深色膠帶把字幕遮起來的
這樣子才能真正強迫自己動耳朵
不然
你的耳朵只是擺在那邊好看的罷了
一點用都沒有
你其實是在動眼睛
要不然就聽收音機
最近網路收音機很方面
建議直接連到國外來聽
ICRT那些老人大概也變不出新東西了
所以沒什聽的價值
而且歌實在有夠老

至於說得話
如果能把到老外男友
當然英文會快速進步
反正算是利益交換
台灣女留學生
最後很多還不是嫁給司機----只因為那個留學生有車子
那還不如跟老外交往
還能學到英文
比那沒志氣和司機交往的
來的好一百倍

但是如果
你在台灣
那當然有點困難
畢竟老外人人搶
你如果又是男的
總不能去當老玻璃賣屁股吧
為了學英文得AIDS總是有點划不來
那比較簡單的方法
還是電視
跟著電視講
他講一句
你跟著講一句
不但要講出來
還要模仿他的發音語氣和聲調
盡量把自己的【台灣腔】磨弱一點

我有很多朋友
其實講英文都很流利
甚至有的GRE字彙還考滿分
只因為有台灣腔
就被批評英文不好
我對這一點其實是很抱不平的
尤其遇到很多王八蛋ABC
幹
老子GRE字彙接近700
GMAT也是700的人
真要比英文
也不見得比他們弱
可惜就是講英文有腔
竟然被這些笨蛋瞧不起
還讓我們不得不對他們的嘲笑退讓逃跑
無能做出反擊
讓我想到笑忘書裡面的一句話
【強者在弱者面前逃跑
這是世界上最可恥的事了
不過這種事卻屢見不鮮】
就是這些經驗
讓我想辦法要把英文腔調磨平的原因

最後一點
不要相信音標
台灣人的發音會被音標害死
那些發音都是三五十年前人的發法了
早就和現在美語發音脫節了
舉個例子
advantage
第一個d早就沒人發了
台灣還一堆人會把那個有聲子音發出來
實在是@#$%^
我建議
如果你真的對那麼發音有疑問
可以上美國韋氏字典查詢他的定義和發音
上面的發音都是最標準的真人發音
那才是真正的王道發音
不要再相信音標了

補充幾個網站
多數人是用Windows
所以大概都有裝Dr. Eyes
不過有的人沒有裝
或是跟我一樣
是MAC的用戶
我推薦另一個網站
是英英字典站
美國韋氏字典當然是英英字典
但是沒有例句
常常版面也亂七八糟的
我最喜歡用的英英字典是這個FreeSearch
版面清楚又有例句
沒有例句
常常也不知道怎麼用
我覺得
動詞最好查一下英英字典
比較保險一點

Guitar games

Thousands of people are cherring. As the first few notes rise from the guitar, the crowd goes wild. It takes talent and a heavy dose of luck to become a rock star. If you don't make it on stage, you can still get a taste of the excitement through video games.

In 2005, Guitar Hero rocketed onto the video scene. With a guitar-shaped controller, you can play along to your favorite rock songs. Just make sure you change your fingering with the colored notes on the screen. If you miss too many notes, you'll be booed out of the game.

Video game and music lovers alike have fallen in love with the Guitar Hero series. Worldwide sales have passed 2 billion, and fans have created Web sites and videos about the game. Some people are making plans to work this game into school music programs.

Announcement Regarding Franchise Regulation Violations

Dear Store Managers,

Recently the head office has received many customer complaints. As the content of these complaints has a heavy impact on our company's business reputation, headquarters conducted a month-long investigation on branches which complaints have been filed for, and random inspections were also conducted on other branches. As of now all the investigation reports for the various branches are complete and will be mailed out to all of you before next Wednesday. 。

The top three issues which customers complained about were service attitude, meal preparation speed, and bathroom cleanliness. 

 Many clients felt that our service staff do not have a good attitude, especially when there are a lot of customers present. 
 We ask that store managers require quality from their service staff. If you find out that they have a bad service attitude, please deal with this immediately or discharge them. In addition, please ask the kitchen to get meal preparation speed under control. Ingredients for all meals should be set up in the preparation area, and the pre-cook pots for our soup products should always remain at least 40% full. 
 Any product must be prepared within 90 seconds. 

 In addition, this investigation also discovered that some franchises ran out of products to sell because they did not prepare enough food ingredients. Store managers, please maintain a firm understanding of stock levels, to prevent a similar situation from occurring. Definition--an important topic that people are discussing or arguing about
Webster's sentence--She is concerned with a variety of social issues.
My sentence--The work involves some complaicated issue.

Every Day is Valentine's Day: Romantic Man in UK Gives Wife Flowers Every Day

Recently an 87 year old man was given the title of most romantic man in all of the UK, as he has given his wife a rose each day during the entire time they have been married in the past 60 years. Though he had given more than 10,000 roses to his wife in 60 years, the man felt that this was no big deal.  He pointed out that these are all things which should be done when you love somebody.   

According to reports made by the UK media, the man wakes up before his wife each morning and places a fresh rose on her pillow. Sometimes he even wakes her up with gentle kisses. Apart from telling each other "I love you" before bed, of course the old man gives his wife a kiss before going to sleep. 

Though the two have been married for 60 years, the man's love for his wife has remained unchanged, and they are the subject of much envy.  Unlike others who only celebrate Valentine's Day once a year, this couple seem to be celebrating Valentine's Day every day.   It's like the saying which says that every day can be Valentine's Day if you love the right person, right?

My sentence--We have to learn how to remain positive attitude.

Definition--a well-known phrase or statement that expresses something about
life that most people believe is wise and true

remain--:to continue in the same given  state 消極的態度
Example
He remains a bachelor.
She remainedsilent all night.

maintain-- to continue in or with;keep up 積極的態度
Example
We must maintain a firm attitued.
He is too poor to maintain his family.
His uncle maintained him at university.
